2008年北京奥运会顺利落下了帷幕。人们说奥运会是一个大舞台，运动员是演员，志愿者也是这个舞台上不可或缺的重要角色。来自全球各地的10万名志愿者给中国乃至全世界都留下了极其深刻的印象。

       2010年5月，以"世界在你眼前，我们在你身边"为旗帜的志愿者们开始了上海世博会的志愿服务；2010年10月份在中国广州举行的第十六届亚运会更是聚集了来自全世界的志愿者；而北京还有一道独特的风景线，那就是每天站在公交站为来往行人指路的市民志愿者，他们每天带着微笑，热情地帮助每一位需要帮助的人，耐心地解答每一位游客的询问。

       现在，参加志愿者活动的主要是大学生，他们积极地加入志愿者群体，更是把志愿服务看作是一种积极的生活方式。

I'm happy to be a volunteer!

The 2008 Olympic Games has ended with great success. People have compared the Olympic Games to a big stage where the athletes take the important role of actors, but volunteers are also indispensable. In 2008, nearly 100,000 volunteers coming from all over the world have left a very deep impression on China and the whole world. 

From the beginning of World Expo in May 2010, volunteers have been engaged in various services. Their slogan is "At Your Service at EXPO". At present, the 16th Asian Games is being held in Guangzhou, which has made a large number of volunteers gathered here from home and abroad. There are also a great number of citizens in Beijing who volunteer to show the way to people. Every day they appear at bus stops to offer help to those who need directions.

Nowadays, college students have made up the main body of volunteers. They participate with great zeal in different kinds of voluntary activities and regard it as a meaningful lifestyle.
