A website puts up an advertisement saying that one can get an iPhone 4 with only 1 RMB yuan, which has attracted many consumers. Sale of this kind is called "lottery sale", a newly emerged mode of online shopping after the traditional "Dutch auction", fashionable "flash sale", and the attractive "group purchase".
商家把一种商品分成若干"等份"，每位消费者只需要出其中一份的钱就会获得一个编号，当整件商品编号全部卖出时，就会产生一个"幸运号"，持有这个幸运号的人就能免费获得这件商品。这种网购方式就是"抢投"。
