"微公益"顾名思义就是从微小的公益行为入手，积少成多。它强调的是全民参与并创造价值，让普通老百姓也能积极参与到公益事业中。正如一首歌唱得那样："只要人人都献出一点爱，世界将变成美好的人间。"        "Micro public good" literally means doing something good for the common welfare by making small contributions from a wide range of participants. It calls for the whole nation to be engaged in the public service. Just as the song goes, "if everyone can contribute a piece of love, the world will become a paradise".

         "微公益"召集志趣相投的人，以集体的力量来实现公益理想。从500名媒体人发起的为山区孩子提供"免费午餐"，到广州梁树新发起的"铅笔换校舍"；从 "转发一次微博，捐款一元", 到给脆骨症患者送礼物的"瓷娃娃行动"......微公益都在显示其巨大的力量。Activities of "micro public good" summon up people of the same interest and aim to fulfill charity purpose by collective efforts. These activities have been exerting great influence since the birth of the concept: from the initiative of "providing free lunch for children in mountainous areas" by 500 media people to the project of "pencil for dorm" by Liang Shuxin in Guangzhou, from the proposal of "donating one yuan by forwarding a message of micro-blog" to action about giving presents to people who suffer from fragilitus ossium.
