在新东方托福班的学习接近尾声了。突然有一种很不舍的感觉。认识不少在新东方上过课的同学，他们很多人曾经对我说，在新东方上课会有一定的压力，因为有很多高手。然而我却没有什么压力。这并不是说我们班没有厉害的人，而相反，厉害的人还不少，而且越到后面越让我stunned，其中张凯同学就是其中一个。我说的没压力是因为我抱着一种学习并且娱乐的心理到新东方学习的。经常课上老师会安排各种活动和游戏让我们更好地记住一些单词以及灵活运用所学的知识，让整个课堂无比生动有趣。我想这是新东方老师比其他培训机构老师优越的一大亮点！

不到一个更好的地方就会以为原来的风景最美，不到一个更厉害的人群就会以为自己是天下第一。接触到各种各样的厉害的朋友，让我总是居安思危，不敢有所松懈。我经常看到的不是自己的已有的成绩，而是我还需要努力的地方。这次在新东方的学习，让我遇到不少本班的还有别班的英语高手，更加肯定了我从前的信念。新东方的学习是结束了，然而我感觉满腔热血却在沸腾。我感觉一段新的学习之旅即将启程~~~~

说来好笑，我在读小学时就喜欢看《家庭》这本杂志，因为家里订了这本书，我无聊就翻翻，想不到一看就一发不可收拾，发展到了几乎每期必看的地步。课间和张凯聊天时居然让我吃惊地发现他也从小学就看这本书了，也看到了现在。于是我们聊这本书聊个不停，真是有很多共同语言。最后我们居然决定共同翻译里面的一篇案例。我负责前半部分，他负责后半部分。从前天晚上上完课开始翻译，一直到昨天早上十一点，两人各用了差不多2个小时，终于把整篇文章译完。然后相互帮对方修改，最后再结合在一起，终于在今晚完成了我们的"杰作"，哈哈。有些问题我和他意见不一还要通电话讨论，看来电话费也用了不少了，呵呵。不过我想还是值得的，因为通过这次翻译我们都收获很大。

最后我得认真地对张凯说一句：Your English is really fantastic!

对这句话，吉林省某学院舞蹈系女生许玉萌有着刻骨铭心的体会：临毕业，她和四名女同学与另外一所大学的五名男生组团去大连游玩，晚上因为住宿条件所限，他们玩了一个前卫的浪漫游戏--用抓阄的方式，男女生搭配共住一室......

For this sentence, a girl named Xu Yumeng( we called her xu for short in the following) whose major was dancing in a given college had an impressive feeling: right before graduation, she and her four female classmates, together with five male college students from another university went on a trip to Dalian as a traveling group. At night, due to the limitedlodging condition, they played a stout and romantic game: drawing lot to determine which boy and which girl live in the same room......

2007年3月以来，吉林省某学院舞蹈系大四女生许玉萌一直觉得心里空落落的：即将毕业，好像一下进入心理断乳期，几次参加招聘会都无功而返，她突然感到非常茫然。

Since March, 2007, xu had been feeling vacant in heart. With the graduationimpending and several failures in job hunting, she felt more than vacant.

许玉萌的父母都是长春市某机关的工作人员，见宝贝女儿工作难找，建议她报考吉林省统一招考的公务员。个性开朗、思想前卫的许玉萌原本不喜欢枯燥的机关生活，不过，遭遇应聘失败的打击后，她开始认同父母的建议，好好准备起来。

Xu's parents were both officials in an government organization in Changchu City. Seeing their daughter with no job, they suggested her applying for the public servant entrance exam. Xu was an outgoing and open-minded girl who did not show the least affection for the tedious official life. However, having been stricken by job hunting, she came to agree with her parents and got preparing

公务员考试笔试后，学校的课程也都结束了。在等待成绩的日子里，许玉萌每天靠上网聊天打发难熬的时光。

一天， 她在网上碰到一个以前经常聊天的网友吴钰，他是吉林市某大学外语系的学生，也是今年毕业，谈起找工作的经历，两人有很多共同语言。聊着聊着，许玉萌感觉心情轻松了许多。

After the exam, all the lessons in school also came to an end. During waiting for the final result, xu killed time away by chatting online every day.

One day, she encountered an old online friend Wu Yu, a student who was also going to graduate in English faculty in a college in Ji Lin City. Talking about the experiences in finding jobs, they had a lot to chat. With the chatting going on, xu felt more and more relaxed.

6月13日，他们在网上聊天时，吴钰发出邀请："趁着这段时间有空，咱们找几个要好的同学一起去大连看海，好吗？"许玉萌欣然同意了这个浪漫的想法："好哇！正好这段时间没什么事做，一旦参加工作，恐怕就没机会去了！""我动员同寝室的男生一起去，咱们AA制，每人先拿1000元，多退少补。""那我得和室友商量一下，看她们愿不愿意。"许玉萌回到学校寝室跟室友商量此事。学艺术的人大都思想前卫、观念开放，一听说和外校的男生一起去旅游，大家觉得既浪漫又刺激，都积极响应，有四名女生当即就决定去了。

On June 13th, when they were chatting again, Wu sent an invitation and said, " Shall we go to Dalian to enjoy the beauty of the sea with our good classmates during this period of free time?" xu agreed immediately with this romantic idea, saying, " Nice! We can do it right now or we can never after getting a job!" " I will convince my roommates to join! We need to hand in 1000 yuan each. If there is some money left, we can share it back. If it is not enough, we need to hand in more." Replied Wu. " I need to consult with my roommates and ask for their agreement!" said xu. After coming back to dormitory, she discussed it with her roommates. Majoring in arts, they were all open-minded and four girls agreed forthright at this romantic and stimulating trip with boys.

6月15日上午9时，五名男生和五名女生在长春火车站如期聚齐，彼此很快就熟悉了。一路上他们打扑克、做游戏、讲故事、唱歌，仿佛已经是很多年的朋友。

At 9 am, June 15th, five boys and five girls assembled at the station on time and got acquainted very soon. All the way they played poke and games, told stories and sang as if they were years' old friends.

当天下午到了大连之后，他们乘公交车到了星海广场，欢呼着跑到海边，一直玩到夕阳西下仍意犹未尽。傍晚时分，他们找了一家小型海鲜酒店吃晚饭，边吃边聊。吴钰动员大家说，吃海鲜一定要喝白酒才有益肠胃。女生在许玉萌带动下，一改往日的矜持，频频举杯，和男生一起庆祝这开心的时刻。

After reaching Dalian in the afternoon that day, they took a bus to Xinghai Square and cheered to the seaside. Not until sunset did they left reluctantly" title="a.不情愿地；勉强地">reluctantly and reach a small seafood hotel to enjoy dinner and chat happily. Wu motivated others to drink by saying drinking white wine while eating seafood is good for the stomach. Motivated by xu as well, the girls were never timid and lifted their cups to cheer with the boys nonstop, enjoying this pleasant moment!

酒酣耳热之际，服务员进来说，如果需要住宿，酒店后院就有宾馆，虽然房间不大，可环境很好，而且价钱比较便宜，两张单人床的房间每晚才收费80元。但得事先预订，再晚些可能就没有房间了。

After second drink, the server came in and informed them that there were some price-reasonable rooms at the backyard of the hotel. Though the rooms were not spacious enough, the environment was good and it only charged 80 yuan for two one night. But they needed to book beforehand or they might had no rooms later.

见天色已晚，大家都同意在此住下。吴钰对服务员说："我们十个人，订五个房间。"服务员拿着200元订金出去后，有女同学反应过来说："我们五个女生五个男生，订五个房间怎么住啊？"

Since it was late then, everyone agreed to lodge. Wu said to the server," we need five rooms for ten." The server took 200 yuan deposit and went out. Suddenly a girl came to the realization and said, " There were five girls and five boys here, so how can we arrange the room?"

"每个房间住两个人，不是正好吗？"许玉萌说完，才突然觉得不对：两个打单的男生、女生岂不是得合住一间吗？大家哄笑起来。许玉萌急忙叫服务员加订一间，可服务员进来说："房间已经给您订好了，正好有五个双人间，其他的都已经住满了。"大家一听，都没了主意。

" Each room for two, isn't it ok?" xu said, and right then she also realized something was wrong: if so, there would be a boy and a girl living together! All laughed then. Xu hurried to call for the server to add on more room, but the server said, " I am sorry that there is no more room available now." All fell into silence.

许玉萌借着酒劲爽快地说："算了，再订一间还得多花80元，更何况已经没有房间了，如果现在退房那些订金就白交了。哪位男士和我一个房间？为了大家，我豁出去了！"惊诧之余，大家鼓起掌来，赞赏她的勇气，夸她够时尚。这时，女同学钟雪开玩笑说："玉萌，你也太自私了，自己找一个护花使者，把我们四个姐妹丢下不管了。""那好，咱们就每人选一个。"许玉萌刚说完，另一个女同学就接着打趣说："那样容易闹纠纷，不如抓阄。"

Xu said straightforward by the effect of alcohol, " ok, if we book another room we need to pay 80 more. In addition, there is no more room left. If we give up all the rooms and move to other hotel, the our deposit cannot be got back. Now I am willing to live with a boy!" Stunned as others felt, they applauded for her courage and updated mind. A girl named Zhong Xue joked, " xu, you are too self-centered. You are gonna find a boy and left us alone!" " ok," xu replied, " then we choose a boy for each!" another girl continued to say, " we could draw lot to determine which boy to live with which girl!"

这时，吴钰说："我代表全体男生感谢你们的信任，绝对支持你们的建议。既然这样，咱们就每天晚上都抓一次阄，这样才公平。"

Hearing this, wu said, " I represent all the boys express our gratitude for your belief and we all agree with your idea! So we need to draw lot every night to make it fair for everyone!"

此言一出，大家都赞成进行这个绝顶刺激的浪漫游戏，居然没有人反对。有人还说："女生抽到哪一张就和相对应的那个男生住一个房间，但有一点要说明，我们都是过了18岁的成年人，谁都不能强迫别人做他（她）不愿意做的事，否则后果自负。"晚饭后，大家按照抓阄的结果，结对到宾馆的房间内休息。

Then everyone agreed with this extremely stimulating and romantic game. One boy said, " the girl draws the card should live with the boy accordingly. But there is one point we must make clear. We are all adults of more than 18 years old, so no one can compel the other to do something he or she is reluctant to do, or he or she will be punished by law." After the dinner, they drew the lot and went to rest with their partner.

许玉萌碰巧抽到的牌是A，跟吴钰住在一起。吴钰身体健壮，但言行温文尔雅，很有分寸，许玉萌对他颇有好感，两人聊到很晚。因为房间里的卫生间并没有门，吴钰就先进去洗澡，然后回到床上盖上被子对许玉萌说："你也累了，去洗个澡吧！你放心，没有你的允许，我不会乱来的。"许玉萌听了很感动。以前，她曾谈过两个男朋友，有过性经验。这样浪漫的夜晚，她很有点躁动。洗完之后，她闭了灯，并没有上自己的床，而是掀开了吴钰的被子......

Xu drew the card named A and lived with Wu accidentally. Wu was a robust but gentle man and left a good impression on her. They chatted until midnight. As there was no door in the bathroom, wu went to take a bath first and then went back to the bed and covered himself with a sheet, saying to xu, " now it is your turn! Do not worry! I will not do anything without your permission!" xu was considerably moved. She had two boy friends before and had the sex experience. On this romantic night, she felt somewhat thrilled and after finishing the bath and turning off the light, she did not get on her bed. Instead, she uncovered wu's sheet......

第二天晚上，许玉萌和一个名叫李平的男生住进一个房间。这种陌生的新鲜感觉是她从来没有体验过的。李平高大英俊，身体素质也非常好，让许玉萌体验到了另一种不同的感觉......

The next night, xu lived with a boy called Li Ping. Xu never experienced such kind of strange and fresh feeling. Li was tall and handsome man with a strong body, giving xu another distinct feeling......

此后的几个晚上，大家如法炮制，感觉非常开心、非常刺激。

During the last several nights, they did the same thing and felt extremely happy and thrilled.



民警从天而降：

浪漫之旅留下羞辱阴影

An insulting shadow on the romantic trip

快乐的时光转眼即逝，6月20日，他们回到长春，当晚住在绿园区一家旅馆内。大家都知道这是他们这次浪漫旅程的最后一夜，都有些依依不舍。进入房间前，他们又按惯例抓阄配对。或许是缺乏社会经验，不懂得忌讳，他们竟当着服务员的面抓阄。服务员感到非常奇怪，就向旅店老板报告了情况。

The gleeful time fled in a flash. On June 20th, they came back to Changchun City and shacked in a hotel located in Green Garden District. It came to all of them that tonight is the final for their romantic trip, which made them feel a little attachment. Before entering their rooms, they still did the routine work and drew the lot. Maybe because of the lack of social experience and the ignorance of avoiding some taboos, they drew the lot right before the server, who felt greatly surprised and reported it to the manager.

旅店老板也察觉到这些青年男女之间言行特别随便，认为有集体淫乱之嫌，怕惹麻烦上身，悄悄向派出所报案。派出所民警接到报案后迅速赶到旅店，将这十名大学生带回派出所询查。

The manager also realized these ten people's behaviors were too casual and thought they might be promiscuous. In order to sidewalk troubles, he called the police. At receiving the call, the policemen hurried to the hotel and took all ten students back to the police office.

突然被民警带到派出所接受调查，他们都惊慌起来。许玉萌预感到问题严重。当晚，她们五个女同学和另外两个卖淫女子关在一个屋子里，其中一个卖淫女阴阳怪气地说："你们这么年轻就干这个，还让不让我们混口饭了？"许玉萌气愤地说："我们才不像你那么不要脸呢！""哼，装什么清纯！好人谁到这里来......"这几个女大学生哪里受得了这样的侮辱，一个个气得哭起来。

Being arrested by the policemen for investigation, the students felt awfully panic. Xu felt unconsciously" title="ad.无意识地；不觉察地">unconsciously the severity of the problem. That night, they were imprisoned with a prostitute in the same cell. The prostitute laughed ironically at them, saying, " you are so young to do prostitution, how can I compete with you and live on?" xu responded angrily, " unlike you a tart, we would never do that!" " if you all are innocent, why were you arrested here?" the prostitute continued laughing. All the girls were insulted to tears.

当办案民警询问许玉萌时，她终于抵挡不住内心的恐惧，把事情原原本本说了出来。其他人也先后说出了真相。民警张波还是第一次遇到这种情况，不知道该如何处理：如果按聚众淫乱处罚，他们都是一对一地相处，不符合"至少三人以上同时淫乱"的硬性规定；如果按卖淫嫖娼处罚，他们之间又没有金钱交易。这种情况在现行法律上没有明确规定，只能说他们违反了道德上的规范。张波只好将情况上报，请领导定夺。所长认为，他们的行为虽不妥，但不违法，不可处罚。于是，教育他们一番后，民警放他们走了。

Xu could not resist the fear and poured out the whole thing to the policemen when asked, so did other students. Policeman Mr Zhang first touched such kind of case and had no idea how to deal with it. if he judged that they were group-promiscuous, they lived in the same room in unit of couple, which did not violate the definition of group-promiscuous crime that should be accomplished by at least three people in the same room. If he judged the girls were prostitutes and whored, it also could not stand for their deeds exchanged for no money. So there was no clear regulation that defined such kind of deed. The policemen could only say they violated the morale standard. At last, Mr Zhang reported it to his senior. The senior thought though the students' deeds were wrong, but they did not break the law and should not be penalized. Hence, after teaching them some time, the policemen released them.

进了派出所，许玉萌内心受到强烈冲击，她感觉自己玩得过火了，已经偏离了正常的轨道。沮丧，令原本浪漫时尚的旅行变了味道。他们决定立即解散，各回各家，相互保守秘密，而且尽量不再发生任何联系。

Since the affair, xu felt a great impact in heart and realized she had indeed over played and veered from normal track. The depression changed the original romantic and fashionable taste of the trip. They determined to be dismissed, go back home, keep the secret ad try not to touch one another any more.

许玉萌回家后足不出户，回忆起旅途中的一幕幕，仿佛就像一场梦，她后悔不该过于放纵，结果给自己带来人生第一场羞辱。此时，她还没意识到，在派出所受到的教训只是一个信号，接下来，她还得咀嚼更大的屈辱......

After coming back home, Xu did not step out of the house. Each time she recalled the dream-like memories of the trip, she felt sorely regretful at her indulgence that resulted in the first insult in life. but at that time, she still did not perceive the greater insult she was going to chew followed by the signal-like lesson in the police office......

7月初，公务员全省统考的笔试成绩出来了，许玉萌以第二名的好成绩入围。面试时，听从母亲的建议，许玉萌一改时尚前卫的打扮，以得体的装束和落落大方的临场表现赢得了评委的好评。随后，她被某培训处录用为公务员。

In July, the result for the public servant exam came out and xu ranked the second and got the access to the final interview. Following her mother's advice, xu changed her fashioned dress with a more generous and polite one, winning the interviewers' high praise. Finally she succeeded being an official in a training department in the government.

8月初，许玉萌到单位报到。工作不累，又受人尊重，她很满足。可就在这时，意外情况发生了。

At the beginning of August, xu started to work. The job is not painstaking and worth respect, so she felt greatly satisfactory. But just then, another accident happened.

8月末的一天中午，她正和同事在食堂里吃午饭，突然感觉恶心，跑到洗手间呕吐起来。同事以为她吃坏肚子了，劝她去医院看看。

On day at the end of August, in the afternoon, she was having lunch with her colleagues and suddenly she felt sick and then vomited in the washroom. Her colleagues thought she had eaten something wrong and asked her to go to hospital.

许玉萌回忆起两个月前去大连的那段日子，立即有了不祥的预感。她独自去医院检查，医生的话证实了她的担心："你怀孕了......"闻听此言，她呆坐在椅子上，不安、羞愧在内心不停地翻滚。都是那次浪漫之旅惹的祸，当时，她以为是安全期，嫌麻烦就没有采取措施，没想到竟然怀孕了。

Thinking of the time when they went to Dalian two months ago, xu had a bodeful presage. She went to hospital alone for a check and the words of the doctor confirmed her concern: she did get pregnant! At hearing this, she slumped down in a chair, feeling extremely guilty and concerned. It was the consequence of the awful trip. At that time she had thought she was in secured period and did not take any contraceptive measure. But it turned out to be so!

孤独无助，许玉萌泪流满面：事到如今，只能将胎儿打掉。她不想让任何人知道这件事，趁着周末休息，自己找了一家女子医院做人流。躺在手术台上，身体的疼痛、内心的悔恨同时袭来，让她痛不欲生......
