British Prime Minister David Cameron welcomed a fourth child into his family on Tuesday after his wife gave birth to a girl, Downing Street said.
唐宁街称，英国首相大卫•卡梅伦的妻子周二生下一名女婴，这是卡梅伦夫妇的第四个孩子。
The girl was born weighing six pounds, one ounce, Downing Street said in a statement. 'Both the baby and Mrs. Cameron are doing very well,' the statement said.

Mr. Cameron, who became prime minister in May this year, is often portrayed by both his party and himself as a family man whose politics have been shaped by 'family values.' Unusually for a British political leader, Mr. Cameron has also allowed pictures and footage of his family to be shown in the media.

Mr. Cameron, who is currently on holiday in south west England, has said previously that he will take paternity leave.
