和人一样，动物也有自己的爱憎、智慧和情怀。读完《最后一头战象》这篇文章，我对动物的感情又多了一份理解。
Just like human beings, animals also have their emotion, wisdom and feeling. After reading The Last War Elephant, I have more understanding about them.
        这篇文章讲述了一头在战斗中幸存下来的战象不忘战友，向往和平的情感故事。
This book tells a heart touching story, in which a war elephant survived a battle but could not forget his companions in the war and always longed for peace.
        它怀念曾经与他同生共死、并肩战斗的战友们。在弥留之际，它没有去祖先留下来的古老而又神秘的象冢长眠，而是选择了与战友在一起。
He missed all his fellow soldiers who fought with him and shared life and death with him. On his death bed, he did not choose to be buried with his ancestors in the ancient and mysterious graveyard, but wanted to sleep with his fellow soldiers for ever.
        它心里装的不是名扬四海的荣誉，也不是奋勇杀敌的骄傲，而是对没有战斗、没有伤害的幸福生活的向往。它想让自己成为世界上最后一头战象，让这个世界永远和平。
In the heart of the war elephant, there was no desire for worldly fame or the pride of fighting enemies, but the desire for a happy and peaceful life without battles or harm. He wanted to be the last war elephant in the world and hoped the world would enjoy long lasting peace. 
        一头战象的故事足以警醒我们人类。让我们一起行动起来，让这个世界成为没有战争、永远和平的世界吧！
The story of the war elephant warns us a lot. So, let us work together to make the world a peaceful place without the pain of wars.
