高尔基说："书籍是人类进步的阶梯。"莎士比亚说："读一本好书，就像和一个高尚的人谈话。"是的，我们要勤读书，读好书。开卷有益，读书能让我们增长知识，丰富课余生活。一本好书犹如一位智慧的老者，他会带你去探索，去寻找；他会搀扶着你让你逐渐懂得这个世界。Gorky once said, "Books are the stepping stones to human progress". Shakespeare once said, "Reading a good book is like talking with a lofty person". That's right. We need to read books, especially good books. To open a book is always beneficial. Reading can help us to accumulate our knowledge and enrich our life. A good book is like a wise elder. He will lead you to explore and find. He will help you to gradually understand the world.

        今天我要向大家推荐一本动物小说——《艰难的归程》。我酷爱动物小说，第一次接触这本书时就爱不释手，看了八九遍后毫无厌烦之意。这本书的语言生动有趣，情节曲折离奇，结构严密完整，故事一波三折，扣人心弦，让人读来有如身临其境。Today I want to recommend a book The Hard Journey Home, which has an animal as its hero. I love books with animal characters. The first time I read it, I could hardly bear to put it down. Even after reading it for eight or nine times, I still did not get bored. The language in this book is so vivid and funny. The plot is complicated and logical. The story is with many snags and is pulse-pounding. You will feel you are right there on the scene.       

       故事描述了主角阿蓬的一些经历。有一回阿蓬竟然独战群狼，保护了成千上万只羊，最终回到主人身边。作者把阿蓬的形态、动作、表情等描写得绘声绘色、栩栩如生，还不时写一些风趣的语言，像："哟，狗少爷回来了，铺床、铺床。"等等，告诉我们狗是人类最好的朋友。The story tells the adventures of a dog named Apeng. Once Apeng fought with a flock of wolves to protect thousands of sheep and finally came back to its owner. The author described the appearance, actions, and facial expressions of Apeng in a vivid and lively manner. He uses a humorous tone from time to time, such as, "Oh, Young Dog Master is back. I have to hurry to make him bed." It tells us that dogs are best friends of human kind.
