3. Modified Versions of Verbal and Quantitative Questions
   
   The test you take may include questions that are modified versions of published questions or of questions you have already seen on an earlier section of the test. Some modifications are substantial; others are less apparent. Thus, even if a question appears to be similar to a question you have already seen, it may in fact be a different question and may also have a different correct answer. You can be assured of doing your best on the test you take by paying careful attention to the wording of each question as it appears in your test.
   
   The GRE Program is currently investigating the feasibility of reusing questions that have been published in GRE practice materials. As part of that investigation, you may see questions from these materials on a test you take.

4. Your Admission Ticket/Correction Stub
   
   An admission ticket and correction stub will be sent to you after your registration is processed. The admission ticket confirms your test choice, test date, and test center. Check the ticket to make sure your identifying information, address, and score recipients are correct. If not, make the changes on the correction stub (name changes are not allowed, but misspellings can be corrected) and mail it to the address printed on it. Your correction stub must be received at ETS by the Friday before your registered test date.
   
   Be sure to take your admission ticket to the test center.
   
   If your admission ticket does not arrive at least 10 days before the test date, or if you lose it, contact us immediately. If you cannot reach us, report to the test center to see if your name appears on the attendance roster.
   
   
   
5. On Test Day
   Plan to arrive at the test center no later than 8:30 a.m. Total testing time for the paper-based General Test is approximately 4 hours. If you arrive late, you may not be admitted and your test fee will be forfeited.
   
   What to take to the test center:
   
   * your admission ticket
   * three or four sharpened soft-lead (No. 2 or HB) pencils and a good eraser (Pencils and erasers will not be supplied at the test center.)
   * valid, acceptable photo identification

   The following procedures and regulations apply during the entire test session, which begins when you are admitted to the test center, ends when you leave the test center, and includes breaks.

Please contact us as soon as possible to report any observed behavior that may lead to an invalid score-for example, someone copying from another test taker, taking a test for someone else, having access to test questions before the exam, or using notes or unauthorized aids.    Dismissal From A Test Center
   
   A test administrator/supervisor is authorized to dismiss you from a test session and/or your scores may be canceled by ETS for violations such as, but not limited to, the following:
   
   * attempting to take the test for someone else or having someone else take the test for you
   * failing to provide acceptable identification
   * obtaining improperaccess to the test, a part of the test, or information about the test
   * using a telephone or cellular phone during the test session or during breaks
   * using any aids in connection with the test, such as: mechanical pencils, pens, pagers, beepers, calculators, watch calculators, books, pamphlets, notes, rulers, highlighter pens, stereos or radios with headphones, telephones, cell phones, watch alarms (including those with flashing lights or alarm sounds), stop watches, dictionaries, translators, and any hand-held electronic or photographic devices.
   * creating a disturbance (disruptive behavior in any form will not be tolerated; the test administrator/supervisor has sole discretion in determining what constitutes disruptive behavior)
   * attempting to give or receive assistance -or otherwise communicate in any manner with another person about the content of the test during the administration, during breaks, or after the test.
   * removing or attempting to remove test content from the test center. Under no circumstances may test content or any part of the test content be removed, reproduced, and/or disclosed by any means (e.g., hard copy, verbally, electronically) to any person or entity.
   * tampering with a computer
   * attempting to remove scratch paper from the computer-based testing room
   * bringing a weapon or firearm into the test center
   * bringing food, drink, or tobacco into the testing room
   * leaving the test center vicinity during the test session or during breaks
   * leaving the testing room without permission
   * takingexcessive or extended unscheduled breaks during the test session. Test center supervisors are required to strictly monitor unscheduled breaks and report test takers who take excessive or extended breaks.
   * referring to, looking through, or working on any test, or test section, when not authorized to do so, or working after time has been called
   * failing to follow any of the test administration regulations contained in the Bulletin, given by the test administrator/supervisor, or specified in any test materials
   
   ETS reserves the right to take all action -including, but not limited to, barring you from future testing and/or canceling your scores-for failure to comply with test administration regulations or the test administrator/supervisor's directions. If your scores are canceled, they will not be reported, and your fees will not be refunded.

   2. 大家一定要严格遵守考场纪律，千万不要跨区答题，因为从ets的措辞上可以看出，监考老师可以在你第一次跨区的时候就把你踢出考场而不会给出任何的警告，不要相信什么考场上老师第一次警告第二次警告第三次才会处理的说法。
      
      
      
   3. 跨区包括多种形式，其中除了在进行一个规定section的时候去完成其他section的部分之外，在监考老师宣布考试开始之前就把试卷的封条打开也是跨区行为；同时，不要以为跨区就是一定要写其他部分的题目，就算你只是打算打开以前的部分看一下，也可以被称为跨区。
      
      
      
   4. 如果你对考场的上其他考生的行为不满意或者发现其有作弊行为，可以向ets举报。另外如果和监考老师又争议，或者对于老师的处理措施有争议，也可以和ets写信联系。

6. Scores Reported on the General Test
   Three scores are reported:
   
   1. a verbal score reported on a 200-800 score scale, in 10-point increments
   2. a quantitative score reported on a 200-800 score scale, in 10-point increments, and
   3. an analytical writing score reported on a 0-6 score scale, in half-point increments.
   
   If you answer no questions at all in a section (analytical writing, verbal, or quantitative), that section will be reported as a No Score (NS).

7. Canceling Your Scores
   At the end of the test, you may cancel your scores by filling in the appropriate ovals and signing your name in the appropriate place on your answer sheet. This is the only time your scores can be canceled. Canceled scores cannot be reinstated, and no refunds will be issued.
   
   Institutions will not receive any information about your canceled scores or about any previous scores you may have on file
   
   友情提示：取消成绩必须要本人在答题纸上根据要求进行，如果考试的时候缺考这样并不是cancel成绩（对于这一点本人也不是很确定，但是可以通过你是否受到了成绩单来判断，从ets的措辞上判断，只有在考场上取消成绩才是唯一的有效的取消成绩的手段），对于取消成绩的考生是不会受到任何的成绩单，包括机考的成绩在内；同时你填写的送份学校也不会从ets拿到任何有关于你成绩的报告。
