Running until Sept. 10, the fair this year seeks to reinvent itself under the direction of Massimo Torrigiani, formerly the editor of Fantom Photography Quarterly and the Italian style magazine Rodeo.
日，"上海当代"（SH Contemporary），即上海艺术博览会国际当代艺术展在上海会展中心召开，这项每年一度的艺术盛会已经开办了第五届。开幕式上先是VIP预展，随后在罗斯福俱乐部（House of Roosevelt）举办一场盛大的庆祝宴会。
'Asian art is changing contemporary culture,' Mr. Torrigiani said. This year's fair, he added, 'builds on the ambiguities and the multifaceted structure of the Chinese and Asian art worlds. It mixes and merges the established and the emerging, the high and the lowbrow, old and new media, global and local.'
在意大利人马西莫•托里贾尼（Massimo Torrigiani）的指挥下，本届上海当代艺博会做出了很多新的尝试。托里贾尼此前曾任季刊摄影杂志Fantom Photograph Quarterly和意大利时尚杂志Rodeo的编辑。
