Main Body(434 words)
Nobody can deny that online learning has created a new concept of learning, especially when people get to realize the power of the internet and the importance of resource sharing. However, progress is always accompanied by pain. Online learning is just like a two-edged sword which surly has made progress for humans but challenged learners at the same time.

By providing an unbelievable access to resource, online learning has been successfully accepted by learners as an effective way of learning. With the help of the internet and the possibility of resource sharing, learners can almost get all the data and information they want. A click on the searching engine can show learners large amount of relevant information. For instance, when learners want to study Shakespeare and his classics, they have celebritybiography, originals, different versions of comments, movies and dramas. Information redundancy and inhibition of original ideas appear. They are the first and foremost problems that learners have to solve. What kind of information is truly helpful for them? Would the existing views restrict their original ones? Learners may subconsciously follow others' ideas after they read some materials or unfairly negate their own ideas when there's a difference between theirs and the so-called experts'. They might feel confused in front of so many given views, including both subjective and objective ones, and have no idea what to refer to. Thus, the ability to select valuable information and keep independent mind become critical. Until learners are critical thinkers, the online learningsystem can maximize its value.

Another challenge accompanies with the information redundancy and original ideas inhibition. Learners become less social when they know how to be resourceful with online learning. Humans are born with indolence. When they can achieve a goal in an easier way, they will abandon the arduous one. Learners would first ask help from the online learningsystem instead of their parents, teachers and friends. The fragmented terms and key words are enough for online searching but far more insufficient for a complete presentation or conversation. With the dependence on such superficial trouble saving, learners would reduce their communication with others in social ways. As a result, they become lonely and their personalities will be negatively affected. The breaking of the relationships with others will deteriorate their personalities in return. Things turn from bad to worse. Learners have to resist the temptation of the convenience to some extent, so that they can avoid being isolated.

Unless learners can make the balance between the benefits and negative effects online learning brings, they can enjoy the convenience it provides for life of learning.
