  Activity 1 Look at learning outcomes

  Activity 2 Describe the picture

Draw a few pictures on the board.  Then ask students at random, "Where is the ____?"  The students should answer, "It's/They're __________.  Then once you have asked questions about 3 or 4 pictures, the students should try to complete the work sheet and then check their answers with a partner.

 You can say, Look at the picture. Where is the _______?

  活动2:描述图片

画几张图片 贴在黑板上。随意向学生们提问: "Where is the ____?"  学生们应回答 "It's/They're __________.  教师带领学生做过3、4张图片后,学生们要自己试着去完成活页练习,然后让 两组相互检查。

  Activity 3 Picture dictation

Watch the movie.

This activity has two parts:

1) Students should work in pairs.  One person is the dictator and the other is the drawer.  The dictator should read the text line by line.  After reading a line of text, the drawer has to draw the picture.  When the drawer is ready, the dictator should read the next line.  When they are done, they exchange roles and do another picture dictation using a different text.

2) Once all the pictures are finished, students should change partners.  Then instead of using the text, the dictator makes sentences based on the picture s/he has drawn.  His/her partner must try to draw the picture without looking at his/her partner's drawing.  Then they exchange roles again.  The drawer is now the dictator and uses his picture to make sentences to help his partner to create a picture.  At the end, they can compare pictures.

  活动3:图片字典:

看动画

这个活动有两个部分:

1) 学生们俩人一组。一个口授者,另一个画画者。口授者要一行一行地读原文。读一行原文,画画者就要画出一幅画。当画者完成后,口授者就再读一行原文。他们完成后,要互换角色,用不同的课文,再画另一张图片。

2)当所有的画都画出后,同学们更换合作伙伴。不同的是,口授者要以他或她画的画为根据而不是原文来造句子,而他或她的合作伙伴在不看他或她的合作伙伴所画的画儿的情况下,画出一幅图。完成后,再互换角色。画画者就成了口授者,并用他或她自己的画造句子,去帮助他的伙伴完成一幅图。最后,他们可以相互对比所画图。

  Activity 4 Chant time

Using the flashcards, you can create a chant that the whole class can do together.  Hand out a noun flashcard or a preposition flashcard to each student.  Choose a student who has a noun flash card to stand and display the card.  Then ask if someone with a preposition flashcard can make a sentence including both the noun flashcard and the preposition flashcard.  For example, one student has a picture of a book.  Another student has the preposition "on".  The student with the noun card has to ask a question, "Where is the book?"  The student with the preposition flashcard has to answer the question, "It's on the shelf."  Then the whole class can repeat the question and then the answer.
 Where is the book?  It's on the shelf.
This is a good chance for all students to get in some speaking practice. 
The instructions can be given in Chinese.

  活动4: 说唱时间

利用动画卡片,教师可以制作一全班同学在一起的说唱。发给每位同学一张名词或介词动画卡片。让一位拿着名词动画卡片的同学站起来,并展示手中的图片。然后问哪位拿着介词动画卡片的同学能够造一将这名词和介词都能用上的句子。例如:一位同学有一本图画书,另一位同学有介词"on" 。有名词卡片的同学提问: "Where is the book?"  有介词卡片的同学回答: "It's on the shelf." 然后 全班同学重复问题并回答。

Where is the book?  It's on the shelf.

对所有同学来说这是一个很好的练习讲话的机会。
可用汉语向学生解释清楚怎么做。
