  Activity 1 Look at learning outcomes

Ask the children to look at the learning outcomes for the lesson – you may explain what they are going to learn in Chinese.

要求学生了解本课学习目标,教师可用汉语向学生解释清楚。

  Activity 2 Create a room

Students can practice identifying the vocabulary words for the lesson by using the cut out pictures to create two rooms—a bedroom and a kitchen.  You may want 2 students to share one set of cut out pictures and each student can make one room.  After they have cut out the items from the cut out picture sheet that they want in their rooms, the students paste the pictures on a separate sheet in order to create a room.  They will need to draw the walls and the floor and any other items that they feel they want in the room.  Finally, students label the items in the room. 

Instructions may be given in Chinese.

You can say, Cut out the pictures to make a room.  Draw the walls and the floor, then paste the pictures into your room.  Label the pictures.  Use the words on the board to help you.

  活动2:建造房间

学生们可以通过用裁剪的图片建造两个房间—卧室和厨房,通过这个来来巩固词汇。教师可让两位同学分用一套裁剪图片,而且两位学生各装饰一间房间。学生从图片纸上裁剪出一幅他自己要想的物品后,这位同学建造这个房间可所选的图片贴在另一张纸上。学生们要画墙和地板,以及所有他们认为屋里应该有的东西。最后,学生们要将屋 里的所东西都标示出来。

教师要用汉语向学生解释清楚。

教师可以说: Cut out the pictures to make a room.  Draw the walls and the floor, then paste the pictures into your room.  Label the pictures.  Use the words on the board to help you.

  ctivity 3 Fill in worksheet

Watch the movie.

Have students try to fill in the worksheet.  They should try to write the structurerelated to the picture.  Some of the pictures will have two structures.  For example, you can point to the floor and ask students what structure includes the noun 'floor' (sweep the floor).

You can say, Try to fill in the blanks on the work sheet.  Write the structure.

  Activity 4 Pelmanism

Have students work in groups of four and play pelmanism.  They must match a verb with a picture.  There may be more than one right answer for some pictures.

 You can say, Try to match the verb to the noun to make an expression.

  Activity 5 Board race

Divide the class into 2 teams.  Have one student from each team come to the front of the class.  You show the picture and the students race to the board to write the corresponding verb.  For example, you show the picture of a bed.  The two students race to the board and the first one to write the verb 'make' correctly on the board wins a point for their team.  This is a good and quick way to review vocabulary.

 You can say, Write the correct verb on the board as fast as you can.
 Watch your spelling!

  活动5:Board race

将学生分成两小组。两小组分别出来一位同学到讲台前来。教师出示一张图片,这两位同学看谁先将相应的动词写出来。例如,你展示一张床的图片,这两位同学就要争着到黑板上将写出相应的动词,而且第一位正确写出动词 'make' 的同学,为他们赢得一分。这是复习单词既好又快的方法。

 教师可以说:Write the correct verb on the board as fast as you can.
 Watch your spelling!

  Homework Have students write in their notebooks for homework.  They could write all the nouns and the verbs in alphabetical order or they could list all the things that they do at home and what their parents do.  
  家庭作业:

让学生在练习本上写家庭作业。他们可以把名词和动词开始字母按字母表顺序写出所有的名词和动词,或者,他们可以列出他们或是他们的父母在家里做的事情。
