They hoped to make Don Quixote live quietly at home. They agreed that Samson should fight Don Quixote. After the fight he would order Don Quixote to live at home for two years. They hoped that his madness would go away in this time. Samson was sure he would win. That was the plan, but it failed completely, and S amson was beaten. Don Quixote was now even more excited about his adventures with knights.
